Pray for Peru

While we barely felt the earthquake on Wednesday, it still has made an impact on this country. Many, 1000's, of people in the state of Ica are without homes, water, electricity. The hospitals are overflowing. The medical care here is WAY below the USA standards. We are diligently praying that people will be seeking for a Saviour during these days. Many fear death and are afraid to go to sleep at night. Please pray with us that the christians in the Ica area will be ministering and witnessing. Please pray for us as we witness to those here in Trujillo who are also looking for some answers. It is interesting and sad to know that many people died in church during the quake. They were there celebrating what they consider to be the day the virgin Mary ascended to heaven. May we be able to show them light and true joy in their lives.

New School Year

9th grade, 8th grade, 6th grade and 3rd grade, wow, they are growing up fast. This school year Benjamin will pass me up in height but I will always be his mom! We are excited about a new year, some more than others. We are also anxious to see how we will grow spiritually this school year. God has some great things for us to learn both intellectually and spiritually. Next year we will be in the USA for furlough which means no homeschooling!
