On Thursday the 5th, David and I headed to a small town 2 1/2 hours south of Trujillo. We celebrated our 16th anniversary on July 6th. It was wonderful! The town doesn't have much to offer but that wasn't our interest. We enjoyed walking together, playing table games, talking and checking out the beach areas. It is known as the city of eternal sun. While the rest of us haven't seen the sun for days, there it was warm and sunny during the day. We had a nice hotel room and enjoyed a few local restaurants. Most of all we enjoyed getting away from the hustle of life and just relaxing together. The children stayed with Aunt Martha and had a blast.

HI Stilwells! It was great to hear from you! Your kids are so grown up-where did time go? When I pray for you guys, I still think of Jacob as my little guy in Sunday school, looking "spiffy" in his tie and vest! Wow! I guess that has been a few years. I am finishing up summer school, and will have two more semesters (one of classes and one student teaching) before graduation. I will post a picture of my guy (and the kids) very soon. :) Hope ya'll are doing well! You're in my prayers. Love ya!
